SEAM 2023
On September 13 and 14, 2023, the annual conference of the Slovak Economic Society was held at the Faculty of Economics of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. The conference was opened by professor Robert Slonim from the University of Technology in Sydney, who addressed behavioral economics and its contributions to economics and policy.
On Wednesday, September 13, in the afternoon, professor Tatiana Kluvánková introduced the research of the SlovakGlobe team, joint workplace of Institute of Management STU and Institute of Forest Ecology SAS, in which the doctoral student of the Slovak Technical University, engineer Dominik Horváth, and professor Michal V. Marek are also actively involved. The professor's lecture on behavioral approaches for innovative industrial management was part of the session named Environmental and Agricultural Economics moderated by Dr. Stanislava Brnkaľáková. The presented contribution is an output of the national project VEGA 2/0170/21, the international project Horizon Europe COEVOLVERS and an input for the launching COST ACTION CA221156 TransformERS. Professor Kluvánková and Dr. Brnkaľáková are active members of the Slovak Economic Society.
